How to pay for your ticket

There are various way to pay for your ticket, we accept cash or contacless payment either by Visa or Mastercard as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay
1 Day and 7 Day Tickets and 10 Journey carnets are available on our myTrip app

Concessionary Pass Holders


Do you accept concessionary cards?
We are often asked this question and the answer is yes we accept, and welcome, all concessionary passholders on our buses who can travel free at all times.
* Please note that from Monday 10th April 2017 we will no lomger issue paper tickets to concessionary pass holders.

Single Journey Tickets


We offer single journey tickets for all trips on our buses. Within our 'Urban Zone' the adult fare is 2.00.
Within our 'Rural Zones' fares vary depending on how far passengers travel (Please refer to the fare tables for each route)

1 Day Tickets


1 Day tickets are only available via our myTrip app. Tickets are valid for the day of activation. Within our 'Urban Zone' an adult Day ticket costs 4.50.
An 'All Zones' Day Ticket costs 9.00 for an adult.

10 Journey Tickets


We also offer 10 journey tickets for all trips on our buses, these cost the equivalent of 9 times the single fare for the same journey and are available either via our myTrip app or as a paper ticket on bus.
Within our 'Urban Zone' a 10 Journey ticket costs 16.20.
Within our 'Rural Zone' fares vary depending on how far passengers travel (Please refer to the fare table above) and again cost 9 times the equivalent single fare for the same journey and are available.


7 Day Tickets

These are only available online via our myTrip app.


NHS Staff 10 Journey Tickets


The NHS staff 10 journey ticket is the same as our standard 10 journey but costs 8 times a single trip ticket. These are available either via our myTrip app or as a paper ticket on bus. All an NHS staff member needs to do to get a discounted ticket is show our drivers their staff pass.


Credit Note

Most of our buses are fitted with cash vaults in the interests of driver safety so we are no longer be able to offer change. We are however be able to issue a credit note if a passenger only has paper money.
These credit notes will be valid either as full or part payment of a journey for a period of 7 days from issue.

We welcome suggestions from our passengers and will be happy to introduce a new ticket type if there is a demand from our passengers. Simply email tickets@prentice.info with suggestions.
